Coinomi allows you to manage an infinite number of blockchain wallets with one streamlined app. Each of your added HD wallets can benefit from its own encryption settings to make it easier and more secure to manage your wallets for specific scenarios. Currently the options below are only available on Coinomi for Android and desktop.
Adding a new HD wallet:
1. Open the left side menu and select your wallet name
2. Select 'Manage Wallets' to open the wallet management page
3. Press "create a wallet" or "restore a wallet"

Each HD wallet you add with this method will have its own recovery phrase and must be backed up individually. If you need individualized balances but don't want to manage multiple backups, you may prefer to simply add a coin a second time on your existing HD wallet.
When creating your second wallet or restoring, you're able to set a BIP39 passphrase to protect it, by expanding the "advanced settings" menu and setting the passphrase there. Do not confuse it with the password to make transactions. The BIP39 passphrase is as important as the Recovery Phrase itself. Adding a BIP39 passphrase when you didn't originally have one will essentially create a new (empty) wallet. It's not possible to restore that wallet again if you don't have both the Recovery Phrase and the extra Passphrase. The Passphrase will never be shown again, make sure you back it up properly. A single wrong character will prevent you from restoring your funds.
Switching the active wallet:
1. Tap the arrow under the Coinomi logo
2. Select the wallet you want to activate

Renaming a wallet:
1. Open the 'Manage Wallets' page
2. Select the 3 dots at the side of the wallet you would like to rename
3. Select 'Rename Wallet'

Always ensure you have a correct backup of your recovery phrase before deleting a wallet. Failure to save your phrase will result in loss of funds. Remember that each HD wallet is backed up by its own phrase.

Each of your HD wallets can have its own security and password. For example your "Daily spend" wallet can have just biometric authentication, while your "Savings" wallet with more funds can have password+biometric.
